Pitwalk

During the pauses and after the last race i used the occasion to grab some photos in the paddock and pits. There is a very special atmosphere when engines are turned off and mechanics work hard to pack everything in time to leave the circuit. In that moments you’re usually free to go around without being constantly stopped. Cars are parked with almost no one around, still hot, dirty and damaged by hits and contacts. I think that it’s in these moments that you really understand what a race car is about. The raw semplicity of many parts, the effects of speed and duels, the form-follows-function spirit. Everyone should see things like these just to understand the true meaning of this sport.
